什么是安全乘坐?
安全乘车 ODU's on-demand evening van service providing free rides to all Monarchs after dark. 安全驾驶, 学生, 教师, or staff can ride to a nearby residence instead of walking home alone. Riders 必须 use the TransLoc app to request a ride and present a valid ODU ID upon pickup.

EVERY DAY, AUGUST-MAY - 安全的旅程 does 不 operate during the Summer months or most academic breaks. 服务 may be suspended during inclement weather.

COVID-19 Update to 服务
Traveling with more than one person? Each person in your group 必须 request a ride individually. Due to space constraints on the 安全的旅程 vans caused by COVID-19, we can不 guarantee that members of a group will be on the same van.
1. 请求搭车
Use the TransLoc app to request a ride and choose your pickup location.
2. 确认
Once your request is processed, you will receive confirmation, and can track your driver's ETA in the app.
3. 司机的到来
You will receive 不ification when the driver arrives. 你有 2分钟 to meet your driver before they depart for other pickups.

- No drinking or eating allowed.
- No belligerent or unsafe behavior.
- No luggage, bicycles or possessions too large to fit in a rider's lap are allowed onboard.
- No 动物(except service animals) are allowed onboard.

安全乘车 不 a flag down taxi service, and provides rides by 只请求. Anyone approaching the vehicle during service hours will be directed to submit a request through the TapRide App. See 'How to 请求搭车' above for more info.
- 请求者 必须 present their ID cards to the driver upon entrance to the vehicle.
- Passenger doors do 不 unlock until the driver puts the vehicle in park.
- Vehicles are lit internally when the passenger doors are open.
- Video and audio recording devices are present in the vehicles for passenger and driver safety.
安全的旅程 drivers will wait for 2分钟 at the pick-up location. If the requestor is 不 answering the alerts sent to their phone, or has found a不her means of transport, the driver will mark the request "No Show" in order to reach their next request in a timely manner.
安全的旅程 has wheelchair accessible vehicles. In the meantime, requests requiring wheelchair accessibility may be submitted via the TapRide App.
